try a climbing helmet from a company like petzl, or a pro-tec wakeboard bucket
or a good old hockey helmet.
 
Wear a helmet - if any one asks about it, tell them some guy named JJ wears one too, you'll be fine.
 
What about when the cave is so small you have to take your gear off to get though it and the vis is so bad you left your lights at the surface?

Oh yeah, DIR divers don't do caves that don't have 100 foot vis and big passage. :)

If you have to wear a helmet to protect your head from the cave, what's protecting the cave from you? <g>

Only divers on the short boat wear helmets and eat M&Ms. :D
