No, I wore a 3mm wetsuit before moving to sharkskin and it is as warm as the 3mm. I do not like neoprene hoods and did not wear a hood with my 3mm wetsuit. I do wear a T2 hood and it is comfy and warm.That’s pretty warm water, do you think it’s equivalent to 5mm?
