Hamworthy BP6

All,
looking at a Eagle BP6 compressor made by Hamworthy. Model on the compressor is 3s7-50, and maintenance manual says BP6PE. Anyone have any idea if this thing is worth rebuilding? gas powered, portable, 6cfm. Can't find hardly any info on this thing, but guy has all of the maintenance records and manuals, and it looks like it's in good shape and for his asking price of $500, it's hard to overlook. Any help or info would be greatly appreciated

Its made in england.Yes all spares are easy to find .
Do you know any history ? hrs run ? any valve or piston work done ?

@windyairman there's the pictures.
~190 total hours
no machining work done
currently almost up for oil change, but since last run over a decade ago, it would obviously get done before firing up

Where can you find parts for it? If the parts are readily available, I have minimal concern given the price he's asking for it

You got two concerns, The compressor and that engine for parts. But as stated the price is not bad, Compressors are easy to work on. If it was running when last use I would buy it just to see something different from a Bauer.

@sealark engine I'm not concerned about, nothing really can go permawrong with them and if I got it, it would be eventually converted to electric anyway. The compressor parts are something I'm hoping to be able to find out a bit more about today before I head to the UK for several weeks

Oh hell going to country where it's used is a no brainer for $500.
