Hammerheads in Ambon - is it real or false?

Saw hammerheads in Alor in October so wouldn't be surprised. They are supposed to show up around a full moon, will let you know when I am back again in March around full moon :wink:

Undestand, that anyway in is only a bit of luck, but may be it will play)
 
Hammerheads like cooler waters. Its an El Nino year, so the thermocline is higher in indonesia. Thats why lots of us have been seeing them. Same reason why Bali had an awesome mola mola season. Conversely it will probably be not a very good year in the Galapagos for hammerheads, they'll be deeper.
