Hi,

Despite some standardization in backplates, there are still some differences. Wondering if the Halcyon Cinch system only works on a Halcyon backplate of if there are other backplates with the wholes for screws and straps in the same place and also same dimensions and angles in a way that the Cinch also fits.

if there are any, it is likely the Scubapro X-Tek plate as they are made in the same factory. Deep Sea supply has another type of system that is a lot less bulky.

Nice thing there is if you are taller than 6'1" or need a lot of lead, you can get the SS plates sized to you with the weight plates. The Cinch system is also really nifty and works incredibly well for as simple as it is.

Interesting, but the question here is if other backplates fit the Halcyon Cinch, because that already exists, only the current backplate is different and the angles do not match.

With a dremel and a cut-off wheel I'm sure they'll fit just fine.
