As the webmaster of Haigh quarry's site, I would like to let everyone know that there is a new site up and running. Included is a brand new member forum, where Haigh divers can post thoughts, questions, sell gear, and of course find a buddy for a dive.

You should go check it out! :14:

Later!

I'm so glad you did this! The web site really did need a face lift. I hope the forum works out well. Although Scubaboard is a great place to post things about Haigh, it would be nice to find postings a little closer to the source. It will hopefully cut down on the number of the quarry postings here, which some people have complained about.

That was one reason why I wanted to do it, i.e. have a dedicated forum instead of random posts at scubaboard.

Also, a lot of Haigh divers and students are not even aware of scubaboard, but are definitely aware of the website. Most students go and check out the site before they go for their certification dives. If they are aware of the forum and know that they can find buddies and stuff, I think that will make them come back and continue diving instead of just waiting for a vacation. :D

Only suggestion I can make and this is one of those things that drives me crazy about tons of websites is I think having a mailing adress or something on the front page is critcal so that someone who has never been before can use that information to plug into map quest.

But other than that it looks great. A lot of quarries have some half-baked websites I think yours looks very professional.

Nice Looking Website!
Very Professional looking - tons of info.

Just one little thing - since I've never been to the Midwest before - from the three pages I looked at: home page, accommodations and even the map - I could not tell where this is?

So yes - address - state or something like 3 miles N/W of ____ (major City) would be helpful for visitors.

Excellent otherwise.:)
