Haddock Mating Calls

I was searching the website for some scuba news and I found this story on divester and www.storytrax.com. It appears there is a new recording about Sounds of the Deep, and one of the sounds is the mating call of a haddock. I never heard this while under the surface. Anyone else hear about this story or have the CD?

i did know that cod had a mating call, which goes something like

'hey baby, i'm a cod, check out my bod, won't smear you with mud, i ain't no dud"

apparently irresistible to members of the opposite sex

Yeah, well evidently the bigger the Haddock the better the response from the female. So that old saying about size . . . . .?

As a marine biologist, I specialize in mating calls and behavior... of every species except the human female. Sigh. Nothing I've tried works on them!
