Pressure can be increased by introducing more of the material under pressure.
if volume is constant , how does the dive shop get all that gas in a tank HMMM makes you wonder? or maybe P1V1=P2V2

You do realize that the volume of a scuba tank is constant. So tell me, what makes the pressure go up?

i hope he's talking about the volume of the gas in the compressor when its boosted...

nRT certainly isn't a constant when you're looking at the tank during a fill...

no I'm not serious,I quess that's why they call Advance Nitrox diving a class.some people are learning new thing all the timeand some don't.. if you haven't taken an advances nitrox course, maybe you should

They use a mechanical device that shrinks the space between molecles...and the results are eerily similar to what could happen to gas if you find something to hold it down. Like, if you could place a bucket of water on top of a balloon.

The answer to all of these questions is 'n', the amount of gas. This is basic stuff you should have learned in OW and not any of the advanced nitrox, deco, trimix or other cards you keep waving around.

When I said I was being reasonable I meant I was trying to explain my postition without using puerile comments suggesting that anyone is farm animal stupid to make my point. Would it help if I used farm animals in my examples?!

I.E when you travel to the mountains the total percentage of O2 is still 21% but it's the ata pressure that changes, as the oxygen pressure changes , this can cause headache and shortness of breath. This is known as HYPOXIA , a condition brought on by to little oxygen
if this doesn't make sense , than all hope is lost

that would be obvious, but you wouldn't understand. Most of what i've tryed to explain comes from chapter 2 physiological principles of diving. If the average GUE tech class doesn't teach this, it might be because it's to hard for their students to understand
