Wasn’t that always the standard? I thought that’s why i did it in doubles, drysuit and with a corded light?
I think the only thing that was necessary for a tech pass before this change was doubles. As in, you could hypothetically do your tech pass with Al80 doubles, a wetsuit and a non corded light on a goodman handle.

As far as I can tell there are no equipment changes for tech pass between 9.2 to 10.1

The previous standards simply stated that a primary light was needed, but there was nothing to specify a corded vs a cordless light (apart from a section about if the burn time requires it, which isn't the case for Fundies level diving).


Also according to the standards, a drysuit isn't required for a tech pass.
