I may be new here but I am old every where else...

Other than diving....I do surface once in a while to fill my tanks and check my email....

And now I find this fine place filled with all these nice people and I hope that it doesn't keep me out of the water for too long at a time.... gravity you know....

It sure has been interesting reading all of the messages on all of the various topics.... but I've got to go get my gear wet....so I won't have to rinse it....

Perhaps this could be my first contribution:
If you keep your gear wet you never have to rinse it ;-)

Welcome, the scuba family now has an Uncle :mean:

wait a second here keeping ones gear wet all the time wouldn't that mean you would be like a diver?

glad to have you aboard

Hi and welcome from Prineville, Or. The northwest is a pretty good sized place, anywhere in particular? If you are getting your gear wet now, at least you are not one of those Candy A$$ed divers form the southern parts that think water temp below that of the hot tub is too cold! Had to rip on them in fun. Everyone has their own idea of a good time. Anyway, see ya around the board.

Later, Hawk.

Welcome to the board from Melbourne, FL. This is a nice place. Only one other board is as friendly or as civil and that is Diverlink.

I agree with our new uncle... My gear has been completely dry once in the last six months. So where did you dive last night?

Welcome Uncle Pug.

I have an Uncle Pud...any realtion? :D

Well yesterday I dove puget sound with some newbies and watched them rototill the bottom.... sort of a public service Uncle Pug provides at times.... watching, not rototilling....

And today I will dive several times with my regular partner on a secret training mission....still in Puget Sound but at an undisclosed location.....though I suspect the beams of our HIDs will be seen cutting swaths in the inky darkness....

But last night....with my gear safely corraled in a tote...still wet mind you (after all this is the Pacific NW)....I did a dive in the Hot Tub....completely gearless....and even though it is against the fundamental rule.....I dove without a buddy....

Welcome! It's nice to see more and more people from the Pacific NW. My checkout dives are coming this weekend and I'm glad to see that once I'm certified, there is a good bit of buddies from the board in my area that I won't have to travel to far to dive with.

Welcome from Beaverton OR! Yeah us NW Divers are crazier than most. I love winter diving in the Puget Sound or Hood Canal. Welcome aboard. Where in the NW do you live?
