Uncle Pug,
Welcome from NJ!
I like your idea about no dry gear, wish I could do the same.
In any event, this is the best place to be, if you're not actually diving.
Good luck,
MikeD

But last night....with my gear safely corraled in a tote...still wet mind you (after all this is the Pacific NW)....I did a dive in the Hot Tub....completely gearless....and even though it is against the fundamental rule.....I dove without a buddy....

Glad to see that you are another Warm water diver :) you did have a safety diver nearby?

Another beautiful day in the Pacific NW....no snow....no sun....no rain - wait .... a little rain.... gale winds dropped to small craft advisory.... Mukilteo is easy with a southerly....

We did a training dive pulling assorted stunts on one another such as "Look, Ma - no mask! Lead me back to the line" and "Got Air?"

Then we did a public service dive for some rototillers... they are actually improving!

Did a hot tub dive....this time with the buddy present....

Uploaded a picture to scubaboard ....

Gear stowed wet... will fill tanks tomorrow... too lazy now...

And a welcome from north of the 49th --- Hello from Ottawa, Ontario. You'll enjoy your time here.

This does seem a friendly place....
I wonder how many refugees from rec.scuba have found it....
Perhaps they are massing at the border...
Unaware that they are welcome to enter...

Sounds like you are having a good week of diving Uncle Pug. I was going to hit seacrest tonight, but I realized that I can't wear my drysuit to the formal x-mas party I am attending this weekend so I had to go shopping instead. I'll be out on friday for sure.

Hi Kate,
Seacrest huh? Is that your usual haunt....
Tomorrow I get to dive with a new buddy in an old place....
Edmonds UWP....
Not exactly Uncle's favorite....but it serves a purpose....
So tomorrow it is Edmonds and the next day Mukilteo....
Perhaps the boat needs a load of divers on Saturday....
Yes, I think the boat is calling....

Yup... seacrest during the week. It's too far to go to edmonds or to get anywhere going south in after-work traffic.

I like to go to hood canal or keystone or langley or harper's ferry or just about anywhere anyone wants to dive & the currents are favorable.
