Hey Ber, I agree. No dirt-darting 'till we're done diving.
Does this mean I'm not allowed in the water?
Or is someone going to have to hold dive beneath me???? <grin>

it was a lot of fun. tons of food, good company. i learned more about equipment then i've ever leared at one time before ;)

A great time! 4 dives on Saturday and one on Sunday -- first time on the deep side of Gilboa. Oh, and the first time that compression really made a difference in temperature. (I'm going to have to post a slight amendment in the "How to keep warm in a wetsuit in 40°F water?"!)

I was glad to see that I'm not the only one to brave the quarry wet (on purpose).

Now I just have to try to keep all the faces with the right names and usernames! What we really need are nametags with an avatar, too.

I hope I'll be diving with some of you this summer.

Does anyone have a count of how many were there? It's got to be at least 25...

-Rob

It was a Great Meet and Greet!!

Got together with some friends, made some new friends, ate, burped, enjoyed, and watched a few bottles melt. (Thanks for new sport DMP.) Even managed to get in a bunch of dives too.

In honor of Tractor Tom (previously Frankenmuth_Tom)
How do you know when you have done enough dives for the wekend on the shallow side of Gilboa?
* When you can navigate to all of the major items/wrecks,
* ... without following the guide lines,
* ... without using your compass,
* ... in murky stirred up visability,
* ... on a night dive,
* ... when you surface, yank out your regulator and scream .. I have SEEN Gilboa!!

Thank you everyone who joined in the fun. It was fantastic.

It was a really good time and was nice meeting everyone. This is a very fun group and there's a ton of collective dive knowledge here.

All I can say is T H A N K S ! to everyone.

Randy

P.S. Next time I'm camping for a day or two. :)
