I would be very interested to hear your trip report.
Is transportation provided or do you have to get there on your own?

My LDS is going in April, but the dates are not good for me. I priced everything out & can match or beat their price on my own.

Get there on your own. I went last year and enjoyed it. Most LDS's tend to increase the prices so they can send their folks as a comp - when people do their own math it dosn't usually hold water and pisses them off ..... me too for the most part as I don't really need a boat dm AND a shop DM babysitting me... one will do...

Hey hit me up! 2005 and the dead of winter would be a great time to head down for me,have not did a dive at the mine but have talked to folks that say its a great one time thing to do! Its hard to plan a group thing, but fun to dive with a few folks you know,so if anyone is going down hit me up!
