Thanks Jenny. I was nervous and scared to have it done at first, now i just want the pain to go away, so i cant wait till they get me in.

I just gat a call from my doc. He said the test came back and i have to have it removed. I kind of new it already was gonna be that. He is going to have me refered out on monday. Hopefully reliefs is just around the corner.

Got my surgery date it is may 3rd. Just thought i would let everyone know. The nice thing is the surgeon is a Diver also and knows about the implications of surgery and diving.

Cool. Sorry it couldn't be this Thursday, but great to have it slated.

Ya but the nice thing is, I am an Adult student getting another degree and we only have two and a half weeks left and i dont want to miss now with finals the last week of april. Otherwise i have to put off graduation one more semester and i am done at the end of summer. And it gives me enough recovery time for bonaire.

Oh ok, just right then - great. I was thinking of the pain and waiting. good news instead. :thumb:

Thursdays the big day. They also found some kind of hernia they are going to fix while they are in there. The nerves are kickin up a little now that it is so close. I'll let you all know how it goes.

Great. As fast as my grandson healed, I suspect you will, too.

Best wishes for your surgery. Really, gall bladder removal nowadays is not an awful thing.

Good luck on the surgery. I saw the surgeon on Monday and with the results of the pipida test (is that one nucelar, 'cause I had a nuclear), my gallbladder is working fine and there is no thickening of the wall. I can delay surgury as long as I do not have any symptoms!! Whoo Hooo!
I am trying to figure out if I did anything radical enough to change the progronsis other than pray.. Besides cutting out meat for 40 days, and already having a pretty healthy diet, I am taking something called EDTA that a friend suggested for unrelated reasons. I am wondering if that has something to do with it. I don't know, however I am happy I can put off the surgury.:fruit:
