G2 transmitter

Hi there... and TYIA. Got my hands on a G2 computer for a sweet price. This is my first air integrated DC. Need to get a transmitter for it. My question, are transmitters brand specific or can they work with other brands. Also, if anybody knows of a good place to order from, I'd appreciate any input. My local shop does not deal in Scuba Pro, otherwise I'd be supporting them. Thanks, and have a great day

Are Pressure Transmitters compatible across brands?

Are transmitters brand specific or will they pair with anything? I have one from a Galileo that is perfectly fine, computer died and I would prefer to try another brand. Was hoping I could use this transmitter. thanks. See Post #9 and post #33 for current summary
