Hi @Kitzy

Where did your new transmitter come from, did you just buy it? Does the new one work perfectly with both your computers?

Did you take a look at the OPV on your old transmitter?
The opv is fine, unless red means it's not as the new one is yellow.

I bought it from a scuba store here, in the Netherlands, I indeed just bought it.

It works with both computers but so does my old one, I have no clue, I have just connected both transmitters and in tomorrows dive I will see xD

New transmitter arrived, fo instead of fc, still appears to be aqualung as by the chart.

Any difference past that? Year is 2021, so still quite old, but newer then the 2016 one (It was bought new, but prob has laid in storage for a few years)

Did you buy a new one or was the defective one replaced under warranty?

I bought a new one, warranty was over.

Whatever may come if this transmitter gets replaced I'll use it on a stage in the future

Hi @Kitzy

You seem to be having very bad luck.

So, you have 2 transmitters, old one that seemed not to be working and new one. You have 2 computers Perdix AI and Perdix 2.

You went diving today? How were the computers and transmitters set up, you said you were taking both transmitters? Were both transmitters set up on both computers? The serial numbers for both transmitters are entered correctly on both computers? You didn't get a cylinder pressure on either computer from either transmitter? The batteries in both transmitters are good? It's hard to believe you would have 2 bad antennae, but I would try the pairing in direct contact vs. distance with both transmitters and both computers again.

If that doesn't give you enough information, you will probably need help from someone else, a friend with a working computer/transmitter or your dive shop. You can then check to see if your computers are working with a known working transmitter, and you can check that one or both of your transmitters work withe a known working computer.

I have been using PPS MH8A transmitters since 2010. I have had 2 fail, one an uncharacterized hardware failure and one with an OPV failure and flood. I have been diving a Teric since 2019 and have had more than one antenna failure.

Best of luck, please let us know how you do

Welp... Same issue, I am rather lost at this point
Need to narrow things down a bit.
You've spoken of left wrist (NG) and right wrist (sometimes) and Perdix AI and Perdix 2. But which computer is on the left wrist (NG)?
Have you run the test with both computers right next to the transmitter?
Is the transmitter obstructed by any metal anywhere?
Can you put the transmitter on a HP hose (you'll need a spool) and get it away from the reg?
What you are trying to do is see if the problem is the transmitter, or its location, or something about the computers.
I assume you have new battery in the trasnmitter?
When you get a connection to one of the computers, does it give a "transmitter low battery" alert?

Both transmitters were setup and the serial numbers were correct, the battery in the new one is the one that came with it, the battery in the old one is a new one.

They pair fine on the surface if I am close to them, maybe it's a range thing but I have done like 25 dives without issue so it seems so strange, all I can think off is the cold water but I dunno how that makes sense.

Left wrist is perdix ai, right is perdix 2.

I have done and they work fine, yes.

It is not.

I could but it has worked fine for 25 days, it has only started having this issue recently in cold water.

The old transmitter has a new battery, the new one has the one it came with, there is no transmitter low battery alert

Apologies if the responses seem cold btw, I don't mean for them to come across as such, I appreciate the help.

One thing to further note, pressing the computer to the transmitter has it reconnecting but holding it next to my head isn't.

Sounds like an antenna
