Hey, I'm looking at getting a Hollis FX100 (well, two...but I have to convince my fiancee she wants one as well) but I have a question concerning the options. I've seen that you have socks, Neo Socks, or Vulcanized boots. There is also the option of getting a cold-water collar.

This may just be my n00b-ness showing when I ask, but I can't find the differences explained anywhere. I was told that the CW collar is for hoods....but is there a down side to it other than the marginal cost increase? Now, I have NO idea what the differences in foot options are.

Also, I dove a XXL that was loaned to me. The suit fit well, other than height. It was a pain in the neck to get under the zipper and into the neck seal. Not a horrendous struggle, but I'm 6'6" and definitely had to squish to get in it. However, would going to the XXXL make it too big everywhere else?
