I would agree, though my practice is to get the Thursday dive site emails from the boats and then choose the site that appeals to me.
My experience is that the boats are multi purposed once they know you. I've done solo dives combining wreck penetration and staged decompression off the Pisces boat. I have seen novice divers with BlueFlash. I try not to get hung up on dive op, just dive the sites you like.
