They usually give 20% off retail price of anything.
In Manila they will if your total purchase is over $100.

I next saw Frogman in first floor SM Mall Cebu, store sells imported cooking items, knives etc. It was on 50% sale, about $45. Yellow only.

Hi,
Does the LED Lenser Frogman 2 torch work well with high capacity NiMH rechargable batteries? I prefer to charge than use alkalines and throw away.

Hi, are there several versions/type of led lenser frogman torch?
I found 2 different (seems to me) ones.

1. COAST Led-Lenser Frogman
and
2. FANTASEA Led-Lenser Frogman

The specification, packaging seems the same. Are there any difference? Pardon me for my ignorance.

I am using the Frogman light (Amazon.com: Coast&#153; Frogman Marie Torch Black: Sports & Outdoors) since a year now, and it proved to be a nice backup lamp. As a primary light I wouldn't use it because the light is still too low compared with other, high-powered LED lights.

I took the light on dives up to 60 meters, and had problems with water entrance on one dive. I sent the lamp back to the manufacturer and got a new product with improved O-rings. Now it works fine and I had no problem at all, even on deep dives.

I upgraded the LED in my Frogman to a 240 lumen P4. 5 minutes of soldering, total cost $9 including a new resistor - 2.2 ohm I believe. It's pretty bright for a tiny backup light now.
