Besides cost(sometimes a big cost), compression(can be offset with the cost of a new suit and probably not that big a deal for a 3mm), and durability(also offset by cost) is there any other reason NOT to use a freedive or spearfishing wetsuit for scuba? Camo pattern is, of course, subjective.

Also, how fast does permanent suit compression happen? 3 hours total at 100'? 10 hours at 60? 10 minutes at 30??:idk:

Some of the freedive wetsuits I have had through the years, are much slicker on the surface, and lower drag than scuba wetsuits...meaning they allow you to hold a fast cruising pace, with less energy expended than with a scuba wet suit....
Beyond that, differences are small, and none exist I know of to suggest against using for scuba. The smooth rubatex may be more fragile than scuba suits, so just be more careful :)
