Fish ID for JM Diver

hey John, it was good seeing you the other night. I've promised you these photos for a while, sorry it took so long!

we were discussing gopher and copper rockfish, I hope these photo's help.

I thought I'd post them here in case it benefited anyone else...

first 4 are gopher, last 2 are copper...

Scott... do you see them in shallow water on the mainland? On Catalina's leeward side I usually only see them at depth at sites like Ship Rock, Little Farnsworth, etc. On the windward side at Farnsworth Bank of course.

I hardly ever see rockfish in catalina. I'm sure some sites are better than others though.

I usually see the gophers shallower, 20-30ft deep. Coppers I see 40-60ft deep, at least.
