I swear, those Danes have a different word for EVERYTHING!

It's actually not all that hard to master:

"Diver" for example is "dykker" and the same applies for all the rest of it.

But...what do they flip?

Flip....
To move or act on with a quick motion.
To turn over or around, especially with a light quick motion.

Maybe because the flippers (Fins) are flipping water away from you???

How about paddle...?

Would a dolphin have a dorsal flipper then?

Jeg kan tale dansk!! Meget, meget lidt.

Don't know enough to get around fluently, but I know the basics. :D

Every once in a while you meet someone ... Your spelling is spot on though.

Hvor lærte du dansk?

På universitetet. Jeg taget (tog???? tage???) en klasse fordi jeg er dansker.

I thought it would be fun to learn a bit of the language, considering I am (part) Danish. I quite enjoy it, but I have never been one to learn languages easily. And I still get confused with past tense, hence my question marks up there. Heh. But it's pretty fun. I'm enjoyed the class, and I am taking another one next semester so I can hopefully learn a bit more. :D (Was that sentence correct, by the way? I never really know. :D) I get excited when I meet people who can speak danish. Hurrah.
