So thrilled with this that I have to share.

So my kid found this tooth on one of our dives, which turns out to be a great mako:

He's off on vacation, and I thought since this is his first big tooth, it should be commemorated. Maybe turn it into a necklace? But I didn't want to do it cheap looking, so I asked a friend if they knew of a jeweler that works on teeth. Turns out a friend of theirs is a jeweler, and shark's teeth are one of his specialties!

So I contacted him, we consulted, and I am super thrilled with the end result:

I'm going to bring it with me when I pick kiddo up, and I'm hoping he likes it (I'm sure he will).

If you find yourself in need, send me a PM for the contact info.

We're moving to NC next summer. Looking forward to some tooth hunting! We'll be just an hour, maybe 90 minutes from the river where a lot of fossil teeth are found.
I'd love to find a few teeth and get some gifts made for family and friends.

Tracy, are you ready for a dive that you will never forget? Contact me when you get settled in. The Cooper awaits the two of you.
