Nope. Chalo's closed and moved out of Villa Blanca. The Pub lost it's lease on the old Veranda building and took over the old Chalo's restaurant at Villa Blanca and has now been open three days there.

Did Chalo's reopen in a different location? I really liked that place.

Chalo's moved to the Tequila tasting restaurant, Mi Mexico Lindo, a little farther to the north on the carretera sur. Not to be confused with the restaurant downtown named Cielito Lindo.

It was Chalo's May 1-5. I am very sorry to hear that the family who ran Chalo's has been displaced.
