One thought regarding the short date hydros....

Not all hydro facilities are versed in issuing the + symbol in order to maintain the advertised capacity. If you buy a 2004 cylinder you will want to make sure that the shop attempts to maintain the + or you will be down 10% on a 3 year old cylinder.

I don't know how widespread this problem is but it does exist locally.

I owned a set of these tanks - they would be nice singles for someone who can reliably get high pressure fills. They are really negative as doubles - unless you need lots of weight, I wouldn't recommend them as doubles. I far prefer my lp 85s and lp 95s. The one plus on the Faber HP 100s is that they seem to trim out really well.
