Two ways:
1) HPs are rated at 3180 +10%. FXs don't have the +10% rating, so they are rated to 3442 PSI. Take a look at the stamps on the top of the tanks, they will tell you the fill rating.
2) Height/buoyancy. The FXs are shorter, and are much more neutrally buoynant.
