I bought an Oceanic MH8A transmitter in 2010. In 2017, after about 865 dives, it quit working. Oceanic/Huish replaced it in their Factory Full Service and Calibration program for $120 Oceanic Worldwide Services | Oceanic
Very recently, this transmitter quit working after about 875 dives. Though it did not have a recent battery change, it appeared that there had been a small amount of water intrusion. The RMA was approved immediately on the Huish Returns Portal https://huish.returnsportal.net/ I sent off the transmitter and after one week, door to door, I have a new transmitter for $120.
The quality of the recent service rivals the best I have ever had, from Shearwater. Another 850 or so dives will probably do it for me
