Anyone know anything about this computer? Is it comparable to a Perdix or Petrel?

Does it not have trimix capability?

That's what I figured...got an instructor candidate for Tec Deep that wants to use one in his training........

You can use it as a very very expensive bottom timer and a Slate with the profile on it.

I did my tech courses with a bottom timer and slate.

How did he get thru TEC 50 with that. A guy in my TEC 40 course couldn't get it to do what he needed it to do. And then again, there is the RGBM issue.

I don't know. Run time tables?

Is that the "rgbm is too aggressive" or the "Suuntos are too conservative" issue?

My experience is with students and buddies using them, and with people teaching me using the DX as a backup. They are perfectly fine computers. Put in the gases, do the dive, change gases as you ascend, get out.
