Greetings,

I love my S600s and love to rebuild them.

However, the adjustment knob assemblies on my G1 and G2 regs are of no value to me as I have not used them once in over a year. I always leave them as far turned out (easier to breathe) as possible.

Is there a way to swap parts (like S550) parts into the case to keep it the same WOB (easiest to breathe level as the current knob when all the way out) and if so, what parts are needed?

This would make the reg easier/cheaper to rebuild and less complicated (hopefully a bit less of a risk to leak/fail on that side of the case with just a plug).

Yes, this might seem odd...but, I just have no desire to adjust the WOB to harder to breathe...ever. Surface free flows are uncommon and easily managed.

TIA!!
