Well, I got the Conshelf XI in the mail today. A quick inspection showed it to be in good condition. The exterior shows that it has been well used and the interior is in very good condition. Put it on a tank and the SPG works perfectly. The second stage freeflowed slightly until I adjusted the lock nut and it stopped. Second stage diaphragm looks new. Of course, it will not be used until after a thorough inspection and servicing. But for a measely $12.00, I am very satisfied with the deal I got on it.

It would be helpful to us all if you guys would come on here and complain about the unbelievably crappy deal you got on eBay. That way the prices stay low. :)

I've acquired a Conshelf XIV and a Conshelf 21 on eBay. The XIV looked brand new and was in the original box with all documentation. The 21 was in very good condition as well. I use them almost exclusively while my Aqualung Mikron and Atomic Z2 gather dust.

Oh yeah, you'll DIE if you buy dive gear on eBay.

Okay, so I did a thorough cleaning of the Aquarius, both the 1st and 2nd stages, replaced all the O rings, lubed it up with silicone grease and put it back together. This morning I went down to the river and took it down to the bottom. It worked perfectly. Performance wise, there is no difference between it and my other Aquarius that I've had since it was new.

Tonight, I'm going to disassemble and service that Conshelf XI I bought fpr $12.
