For undergarments in coldish water I use Diving Concepts TPS Thinsulite Extreme. It fits snugly and is stretchable to keep folds and unwanted bulk in check. I add good quality polypropolene long underwear in varying thicknesses to help when water temps really get low.jdelprete:Great feedbackk all, much appreciate it. Now on the undergarments. Steve you mention Whites... I have heard not so many good things about the DUI undergarments and mixed reviews about Weezles. How about the rest of you, what are you using?
Thanks, Jim
For warmer water I use a stretch polartech one piece undergarment in a 100 weight, and for temperatures in between a 300 weight stretch polartech one piece is most appropriate.
I also can choose between no gloves, thin or thick wet gloves, or dry gloves. I also have two different wet hoods available.
Remember, the dry suit is there to keep you dry, and the suits you are talking about will provide no additional warmth, the warmth comes from the undergarments you choose, combined with, socks, gloves, and hoods.
Good luck,
