my next suit will be 5th D's 750, as soon as i sell my DUI CF200X i will order a custom made 750. No question about it

We are a little leery about the 5thD suits since it is 3000 miles away for us...Andy is right here in our backyard..and from what I hear DUI customer service sucks. One aspect of the decision that seems to point to Andy's...

DUI service sucks and you might be a little far away for the 5th D suit. I guess i'm lucky i'm 30 min away from two 5th D stores here.

No doubt... if I have to send my DUI suit back, it'll take time... but, I know enough people here that can do any and all work on my suit (and would also show me as they do it.) that I'm not worried about having to ship it cross country for work... only exception being a new zipper... which, in less you do something really weird, rarely needs replacing.
that being said, there are probably lots of DUI / Andy / any genric work suitable techs in DC that could do any normal work you need. neck/wrist seals are going to have to be replaced periodicly... you don't always have to send that type of maintainance back to the manufacturer... lots of shops can do that for you on site...

I figured it out. My DUI connection was able to come through and get me a TLS350 with pockets for the same price as the Andy's DS3 without pockets. Just add a p-valve and I should be good to go...

the only weird thing i did to my DUI zipper was open and close it and it failed on me after 200 dives which is ridiculous, my GF has 70 dives on a TLS350 and she has problems already with the zipper and if anybody takes good care of equipment its her!
needless to say i will never buy DUI again :fury:
