I have a question about drysuit fit. I'm 6'1", 220lbs. My wet suits are all in XXL. I am finally moving on to drysuits and wondering if drysuits fit the similarly to wetsuits? Should I expect to be able to fit into an XL drysuit, or should I assume that I will need an XXL?

Best way is to get into one that you are considering and get it in right size. Sizing most likely is different between different manufacturers and styles; most of the dry suits are not stretchable so proper fit is quite important.
Your LDS might have some suits in stock or check DUI demo tour at DUI-online.com; this is a good opportunity if you can attend one of those weekends that they have throughout the year as they will let you experience variety of suit styles and they can measure you for proper size.

A drysuit is much looser fitting than a wetsuit. Try on several different suits. The drysuit and the drysuit underwear each have their own characteristics. If you are lucky enough to have a dive buddy approximately the same size with a drysuit, get his opinion, and ask if you can try his suit.

I just got my Whites this weekend...I had dove it prior and am a 2x/3x. I was surprised...I should have been able to fit the XL but when I tried it on I had issues getting it up around my shoulders due to having wide shoulders...I am 6'1 200. As others have said go to a LDS and try them on. Whites have no need for custom sizing as per their site. I really liked it when I dove it (7 times) and bought my own this weekend :)

Thanks for all the advice. I purchased the close out Waterproof D7 in XL. I'm 6'1", 216lbs. The very friendly people at Waterproof USA said that I could exchange for the D10 if the XL doesn't fit. Hopefully one of the options will work out.
