I have been trying to figure a way to install the rings straight into the sleeve by stretching and holding open the wrist seal rolled over the internal o-ring.... I know somebody out there must have it figured out!

This is how Dave (BigO) and I do it. Just stretch it up and around the ring. I also do a variation of this, by putting it in at a 90° (picture trying to "roll" it into the sleeve), then spin it 90° into place once I'm inside the latex seal.

I'm not sure my explanation makes sense, but that's how I do it.

I thought there was an additional ring on the outside to hold the entire deal in place.
There is an o-ring on the outside... or at least it is supposed to be on the outside... Shane put both of his o-rings on the inside :D

And over that outer o-ring I have the innertube covering the seal.

Bobs method works much better, insert the ring perpendicular to the seal, then turn/twist it into place and install the o-ring.

All this is with a dry, dusted with talc seal also!

Thanks for the photos Uncle Pug.
Looks like a good system.
I just emailed Diving Concepts, requesting dealer info in the Toronto Ontario area.

I'll keep all my Canuk buddies aprised.

How do the Diving Concepts compare with the Si-tech systems?

I have been using the Diving Concepts blue nightmares for some time now and I use the no seal on the wrist method. I have never had a problem of any type with this method. I have even tried to pull them off under water, with out success. ( Thankfully )

If you roll it in from the front and spin it 90 degrees into place... how do you put the o-ring on the inside?

UP,
Chris (COVCI) and I were talking about this yesterday, and I'm not sure that I understand how or what exactly you're doing with the cuff ring and o-ring here?

The way I apply/use it is just like the instructions indicate either on the website or instruction-sheet, but it sounds like you've found a way to maintain the benefit of a wrist seal (for potential dry glove problems) and still apply the glove system.

Have you had a chance to dive the 2mm style DG?

Thanks
Eric

I spotted one minor downside of the black neoprene drygloves. When dconstanza would use hand signals, it was difficult to see his hands, but with the blue drygloves, the hands are easy to distinguish from your body (or other dark background).

I know... minor detail... you could probably just paint them white, right? ;-)
