The method in the video seems to work well but you have to really press down hard so the top of the ring pops up a bit so you can pull on it. I used a tool before and it ruined a seal.

Jumping into this a little late but was wondering if anyone has used latex wrist seal with this system. I currently use latex with my QCS system but I am getting ready to go to dry gloves. Can’t seem to beat the wrist seal leakage.
I would say they are a little pronounced but I have tried both latex and silicone I even tried the Apollo seals with no luck. My base layer is usually damp down to my waist after a 2-3 hour dive. So I am looking at the rolock system with showa 720 gloves. Are the veins / muscles on your wrist pronounced?
I've only ever used silicone seals, but it's kind of a moot point if you're diving dry. The glove will keep anything from leaking.
That it what I use, but I don't ever really dive water that doesn't need dry gloves and thick liners. I have my wrist seals cut all the way back (so essentially there is no seal). Zero leaks unless I get a pinhole in my glove which isn't really an issue.I would say they are a little pronounced but I have tried both latex and silicone I even tried the Apollo seals with no luck. Honestly, I'm having the same problem. With my Rolocks and glove rings I'm dry as a bone. For shallower dives this time of year, wet gloves or no gloves is a real option, but even if I use brand new wrist seals at full length, even if I make sure they lay flat on my wrist, even carefully loaded into either oval wrings or rolock wrings, I still get real leakage, I'm assuming around my wrist tendons.Jumping into this a little late but was wondering if anyone has used latex wrist seal with this system. I tried a seal grey for my neck with an older neoprene suit. I measured multiple times and when I tried to put it on it popped at the seam. It's the only thing I've ever gotten from Seaskin that seemed like junk. Maybe I got a bad one, Idk.Honestly, I'm having the same problem. With my Rolocks and glove rings I'm dry as a bone. Anyone had luck with the bioseal wristbands or using neoprene seal greys for diving with wet hands and dry arms?
When making a fist , the wrist tendon does get a little pronounced:

You guys already made me swear off underwater knife fights, do I gotta quit aqua boxing too?
Thanks, I just requested a sample from Showa! I don’t really need dry gloves where I dive either but I move to colder water next summer and the leakage I get now is driving me nuts. So I figured I should start diving with them to hopefully stop the small leakage but also get used to using them. That it what I use, but I don't ever really dive water that doesn't need dry gloves and thick liners. I tried the bio seal and it didn’t work for me. A little bummed as they were like $80.Honestly, I'm having the same problem. With my Rolocks and glove rings I'm dry as a bone.
