Well Saturday ended up being perfect in Jupiter. Near flat calm marine conditions, good visibility, saw 2 lemons, 1 tiger, tons of reef sharks and a few nurse sharks: plenty of active turtles too: greens, hawksbill and loggerheads. Fantastic day to be out on the H2O

I was just finished getting my hair cut at 10:00 saturday, and told my wife that I must be an idiot not to try a dive. So, last minute, ran from Ft. Laud. up to Jupiter Dive Center for the p.m. Trip. 7 lemons and several goliaths, and two big schools of spadefish on the Zion Wreck Trek, 60+vs, nice blue water, moderate current, 78 degree. Surface was sunny and calm. On Tunnels, two reefies, one BIG nurse that bumped into me when someone else startled it, a very large goliath (much bigger than the norm, a good 6' long as I laid right next to it), a large school of good-sized amberjack, several areas where the schooling fish were so thick you could not see through them, and, amazingly, 5 turtles who were not disturbed by the divers at all and allowed nice, long observations.

It was an improv, but what a great day!!
