you can sit on the edge and let the reels dangle down

it's hard to explain, but easy to do. first you "locate" the reels (usually
by letting them bump against the edge of the seat); then slide down
just a little, and then sit down. not a problem

I'll stick with my method. I've seen someone get hung up on a reel dangling like a Klingon. 'Sides, I don't relish the thought of trying to "feel" anything with my ***** on a boat that is pitching and rolling; I want to freaking sit down ... quickly. Yes, I have tried that method. It's not for me.

However, as they say ... YMMV.

your butt makes the boat look small




if i have a problem (not yet), i can simply clip the reels to my chest
d-rings and change them when i get in the water. then do the same
before getting back on the boat

the butt ring just works real well for them while under water

I tried hanging a reel from a buttring...it was not a pleasant experience...unless you´re into that sorta thing (is that DIR?)...

It's much more enjoyable than being assisted by someone who looks like me
