you wanna talk about a non dir rig you should look at me...
i even have 2 of the ever so evil computers :)

lol

i have one, but that's all it takes

:54:

and a neoprene drysuit......and im sure alot of other non compliant gear

well if the butt question is from a female the answer would be: noooo, absolutely not honey, otherwise it would be: there might be something more complementing....
anyway as for smb's and spools - wear them where you can still reach them comfortably

Diesel298:

i don't tolerate this.

i kick the crap out of my gear until it becomes compliant

haha

Speaking of your rig, I have a question: do you wear the cap during your dives?

H2Andy:
it is DIR to carry your reels and/or spools on your butt ring

not sure about the SMB, but i don't see why not

So, how do you sit down? Or do you not sit until you de-clutter your butt?

Obviously I am not DIR.

it took a min. to figure out what you where talking about.
but no i take it off just befor i put my mask and hood on :)
its a poseidon hat too so deffinetly not DIR

you can sit on the edge and let the reels dangle down

it's hard to explain, but easy to do. first you "locate" the reels (usually
by letting them bump against the edge of the seat); then slide down
just a little, and then sit down. not a problem
