Do Tanks Require Adapter Here? Din Standard ?

Dave as a side bar: have you had any problems with inserts seizing and do you lube the threads?


Not that I know of, and yes we do lube the inserts.

I'm just picturing row upon row of juicy, HP filled scuba tanks.....Yummy! :)

And yet you will probably never see such a sight, since the tanks of your choice will be waiting for you on the boat when you board.
 
All 250 of Aldora's tanks have DIN valves with yoke inserts…no problem either way.

I think we are planning on diving with your co. ; will check with my dive buddy, who made the bookings - pretty sure it was Aldora.

I dove past February with an operator in Playa del Carmen (BlueLife). They have DIN tanks and regulators, perhaps because they do mainly tech diving. One of the days we went to Cozumel and this operator gave me a Yoke reg set as we were using Yoke tanks there.
Also I did two tanks in Cancún and this other operator (AquaWorld) had only Yoke tanks.
