Official "press release " from Dune, Sfaga.

On August 25 at 1 am, close to Marsa Alam, our ship, the Muaddib has entered into collision with the reef or a floating object when approching the "abu Dabab" site. Our dive director, after looking at the damages with the captain, has decided to leave the boat and join a close by boat at ancre. The evacuation was done very calmly and everybody had a chance to take their belongings with them. Everybody is now at the Menaville hotel in Safaga.
Our Baot is still afloat. All efforts are done in order to keep it afloat and bring it back to Safaga's backyard.................
