Sorry guys if this has come up beofre, but I DID do a search but couldnt bring myself to read through the whole 12 pages of previous threads.
I checked out the DAN Europe website and I thought that the cover was low for the premium £101 pounds per year PLUS you had to join and become a DAN member. I was hoping to hear any recommendations or company's to avoid. Can anyone help? I'd sure be grateful to y'all.

DAN is great insurance, at least in the U.S. I don't know what the EU coverage is, but the premium you quoted is about twice the cost of the DAN Master's level coverage for U.S. folks.

Vicencia & Buckley, PADI's insurer, has something similar to DAN for less that's available to UK and EU residents. DAN is really fine insurance, though. You drop a DAN card, and things will start happening fast.

Here's a chart comparing different plans. It may be a bit outdated, but it gives you some other sources.

Hey Wapyaly,

I figured I should start looking at the DAN stuff and I saw their insurance offerings.
So I talked with my HR lady here and went through the DAN brochere and our own benifits plan at work. As it turns out, the plan I am on now pretty much covers everything (minus the equipment) that DAN does. Not sure if you are on any benifit or health plan at work but you may want to check that first.
Another good thing about where I am is that the government pays for my medical needs(OHIP), and I called them up and that includes Hyperbaric chambers too! Doesn't England have a smilar setup in terms of the government covering health costs? I can't remember, its been a while since I've been there...

Hope this helps a little...
