I have DANs top plan, it does contain some trip insurance.

I also use DEPP for equipment insurance.
The thing i really like about DEPP is that i can get flood insurance for my cameras, and computers. If they do flood they get you a replacement for the flooded equipment.
 
Your primary health insurance may or may not cover you for medical emergencies. I would suggest letting them know you participate in Scuba Diving to find out what exactly they will cover. The biggest problem with your basic health coverage is if something happens to you in a foreign country. Many foreign countries (where divers go) either do not accept your insurance or your insurance company may not pay outside of the US. DAN Insurance covers you worldwide and DAN has contacts in many countries. Your primary insurance usually will not pay to bring you back to the US or to fly you to the nearest facility familiar with diving injuries... DAN will. Just some things to consider.
