We dove with Aldora recently and yes the steel tanks are nice to allow shedding lead, but our dives were not much longer because we were limited in time and I was coming back with 1200 and 1400 psi. The SI on the beach was nice.
My son and I dived with other experienced divers who were good with air consumption. A few divers during the week had dive computers that were more conservative than ours.

Our dives averaged 75 minutes and that included 65 min at Punta Sur Devil's Throat and 60 min at Punta Sur Cathedral, both due to NDL. It also included a dive of 53 min at Barracuda in ripping current where several other divers ran low on gas. We had a couple of dives in excess of 90 min. I do not have my end pressures recorded as it was prior to my current AI computer. We had plenty of gas but were often pushing NDL by the end of the dive. I like the steel 120s :)
