Hi,

I just moved into the area (Aurora/Batavia) and would like to find out what's going on in the area. Are there local shops with good dive clubs or a local dive club not associated with a shop? What local diving is there? I dived off of Milwaukee last year and had a blast.

Thanks,

Eric

I like Dive Right In Scuba in Plainfield. There's also IID in Glen Elyn. Berry's Aqua Paradise in Naperville.

I'm also an independent instructor in Naperville, that's not associated with a dive store.

Hello,
There is also a dive shop in Aurora called Below H2O.
Any plans to dive this weekend ?
We are going out the the Haigh Quarry on Saturday , and you are welcome to join us.

I'm traveling this weekend and so far I only dive wet, but I should look into Haigh quarry.

Welcome to the Chicago Metro Area!

There are many dive shops around the area, including Indiana. For meeting other divers, check out the Chicago Meet-up group (Meetup.com). There you will find many other divers and information regarding charters and diving at area sites. In fact, there were be some meetings of the group in the next few days, so come on out!

In the liveSCUBA map there are a few dive shops in IL and a large number of dive sites in the Great Lakes, and new ones are popping up on the system daily. None of them have reviews yet, but anyone can add shops or dive sites to the system and write their reviews of them.
