I had 6 to 8 foot visibility in 27 feet of water off Alhambra Thursday morning.

Visibility: 6-8 feet - Seemed to be having trouble finding a good fossil bed. Found 20-30 teeth and a few dugong rib bones. Met Joyce from here on SB who was throwing a beach bash with several other divers. Got stopped by Venice Beach PD about 300 yards out for not having a dive flag...oops. Here was my booty:

Outgoing tide in 25 feet of water off Alhambra with only 2 foot visibility. Lot of algae hanging in the water and some current going south.

Tide incoming, winds WNW 6 mph
Slight swell, current running East felt like a drift dive at times
Viz 6 ft, then about 2 ft in the clay
Temp 84
Finds usual small stuff. Lots of life in the blocks.

Viz was 4-6 feet at the start - slowly getting murky due to wave action - finally dropping to 2-4
No one on the beach when I went in - teeming with people when I got out - thought I returned to the wrong beach!
Normal small finds

2 dives off Megalodon Charters in the morning.

Seas rough 2-3 ft.
Water temp 86
Viz 10-15 ft
Found 2-2 inch megs and one 2 inch fragment. Saw 2 brown spotted eels and a small octopus.
