I don't know squat about human physiology, but if your metabolism can make carbon dioxide out of oxygen without a source of carbon, the world's entire scientific community would like to take a closer look at you.

Well, I'm lost...

But, I am confident in one thing. The world's scientific community is aware that the human body is chock full of carbon atoms and can take in oxygen and put out CO2.
