It seems like a decent wrist computer as recommended here is either $400 or $700 in Canada so it's looking like the peregrine is still in the mix.
That would be for the Peregrine. At least the higher of those two.You have a line on a new perdix for $400 to 700 CAD?
$700 for peregrine if you're lucky in Canada! That would be for the Peregrine. At least the higher of those two.

what make people spend 700$ over a Shearwater compare let see to a suunto zoop or mares puck ? Beside having the same basic feature regarding depth, temperature , NDL extra stuff, what push people going toward it that's justify to spend that much money ? Not saying is not a good computer just try to figure out the hype around it.Scubaboard is heavily biased towards Shearwater. Ask a computer question here, at least 2/3rds of the responders will tell you that you need one.
oh ok i was more talking about the peregrine but i got your point, i assume both a pretty much the same beside air integration and compass navigation. Yeah i heard you for the color. i thought all the garmin computer where on the race too ? i thing one of the model got even a flash light (small beam) integretedDownload the instruction manual of the Shearwater computer of your choice.
Even a monkey can safely dive with a Teric on their wrist. Tech mode, gas switches, derp a lerp easy.
But for me, after a week of hard technical field work, the last thing I want to do is dick around with another black and white PLC. The Teric was a big expense, but it's a joy to operate.
So because of work, I could have a cheap computer that I hate to look at, or an uber expensive computer, that's enjoyable to check. Fun won. Cost savings lost.
