BTW guys, if I forgot. I finally found a full time job. :)

Michael

That is good to hear. I am glad to hear that news. I know it was a load off your mind. Now you can play catch-up.

*grumbles*, but likes his first check!

I guess this means we won't have to worry about you holding up signs that day that says
" Will work for Air Fills"

Congratulations!

Congrats on the job. It's a real female dog getting air fills with food stamps

yeah, but the 56 won't occur until about 2:00pm. Not that I'm complaining

Now that the weather may actually be sunny and you guys have decided which pizza to eat and where RocketMan needs to take his wife out to eat, Clay has got cole slaw and beer so far for the cookout. For you guys that actually cook(this leaves me out) :) what can you bring to help out the cause? Since our thread has gotten rather long (and of course I had nothing to do with that):D I will summarize:

Clay has graciously agreed to cook hamburgers and hotdogs at his house after our last dive. I am going to furnish buns, condiments, paper products, soda, etc. We could use some potato salad, baked beans, desserts. Since Howard is bringing beer, for those of us who don't drink beer, it can be a BYOB. Lunch will be on your own, but if someone cooks up some chili, or stew, or homemade soup on one of those campfires, do bring enough to share with me, the rest of you are on your own:D

No one would EVER accuse you of complaining RocketMan.:D ...and I see you ducked out on the cookout so that you wouldn't have to go by McDonalds and pick up the ketchup packets....

Doh...I forgot about that...I'll pick some up on the way down :D

Well, unless we decide to do an "Iron Chef Alabama" and take over the kitchen, I won't be able to excercise my culinary skills (plus, I don't think I can fit all my kitchen gear and dive gear in the car at once... either set could fill it).

Okay, tell you what, I can either make some cookies (I probably should be able to whip some together Thursday evening, I suppose), or one of my specialties, Chili Con Queso Basmati (basically, a rather good chili-and-rice dish that I can assemble with only the use of a wall socket for the rice cooker, about three minutes of microwave time, and maybe 15-20 minutes total elapsed time).

Delicious chili rice or the significantly less convenient (but also delicious) cookies?

I say make it easy on yourself. Chili Con Queso Basmati sounds great. Cookies are great too. My wife makes all chili with the interntions of serving it over rice. She is from South Alabama and I had never had it being originally from Georgia.
It is far better than any I had before.
