I believe the SMB, in this scenario, serves a location marker/beacon. Youl would return with the appropriate equipment to salvage the flooded the DPV.
My SMB line didn’t have a spare 200+m but I guess in some scenarios this could work.

Ultimately tho, in this situation you’re making a decision whether to ditch the SMB or fly it back. Unless it floods when you’re really shallow you probably don’t have the luxury of time to be ******* around with those calcs

Using l for liter could be mistaken as I (capital letter of i) in my too smart iPhone spellchecker.
Which is why I consistently use L for liters, even if it isn't quite kosher in every situation

I have been screaming pretty loud about the DPV industry not using snap shackles on their harnesses , maybe only to save a dollar or two . I have a 16 in. diameter hull with a 1/4 in. thickness in the works for a real big and fast underwater puller and with a 5000 watt battery it could make a nice size bomb . Exploding or imploding it should have a burst plug !

I have had a scooter hull buckle but it did not flood when building some back in the early nineties . My neighbor's brother had a engineer working for him . He worked with Draeger before and in ten minutes gave me a bomb hull design . Happy Mothers Day To All And Family First ! Rumdumb
