I hope I still have enough time. The conference starts May 19 or so. Is that still mantatee season?
 
If you elect to do Emerald or West Palm, let us know when you are going as we will be in the area in mid May as well (don't have exact dates yet) and maybe we can connect up.
 
The closest ocean diving to Disney is in Jupiter or West Palm. Jupiter is deep at 80', but it has plenty of big fish and turtles. West Palm is more shallow (60'). At West Palm, you have the option of doing the Blue Heron Bridge (a shore dive). Pura Vida divers is about half a mile from the bridge and they are a good shop. The bridge is great if you like strange critters. You enter about 1 hour before high tide. It is an easy shore dive and for the west section, if you can walk even a short distance with your gear on, you would be OK. It is only marginally harder than a boat dive.
